The Nashville Gun Club (NGC) is the largest shotgun sports venue in the state. The Club was formed in 1876 and has been located at several sites, including the Belle Meade Plantation and the Nashville Airport. Its current home is on the banks of the Cumberland River in West Nashville. The NGC offers Skeet, Trap, Five Stand, and International Bunker Fields along with two Sporting Clays Courses.
A portion of the proceeds from the Carl Cutrell Jr. Big Bang Classic will be used to help with local issues such as families that are displaced by fires, projects that will help promote the fire sprinkler industry, efforts to deal with issues that affect the fire sprinkler industry, and providing meals for distressed families during the holidays.
